Dear Colleagues,
on the recommendation of Dr. Neizhert at Max Planck Institute Munich I
would like to draw you attention to the below mentioned job offer.
---------------------------------
Call for Mathematician
The *Spatial Sound Institute* <http://spatialsoundinstitute.com> is looking
to engage a full-time/part-time mathematician to become involved in ongoing
research into the natural laws governing wave behavior within geometries
and physics of sound.
We invite enthusiastic mathematicians to become part of an
interdisciplinary team involving musicians, programmers, physicians and
neuro-scientists. The ongoing research on the connection of sound phenomena
with fundamental natural laws has possible great implications in
theoretical and applied physics. We expect the research to touch upon
various fields within mathematics and physics such as magnetism, sound wave
propagation, rose and lissajous curves, symmetry along group theory and Lie
groups, octonions, fractal and crystallization patterns.
Preference goes to working with *PostDoc or PhD graduates* in mathematics
with experience in coding Python and/or C++, though we are open for
applications from anyone finding significant relation to the research from
within their field of work and professional skills.
Central place of work will be the Spatial Sound Institute in Budapest,
Hungary, and might involve traveling from/to Budapest within Europe and/or
to visit other partner Institutes from time to time. Principal
collaborators at the Spatial Sound Institute will be Paul Oomen, Head of
Development, and Rona Geffen, Research Associate. Further terms and
conditions of the position will be discussed upon response by the applicant.
Applicants are requested to send a short motivation letter and their CV
before *November 30th 2019.*
Please applications to: *submissions at spatialsoundinstitute.com
