Dear MCLS Community,

The Mathematical Cognition and Learning Society's governing board is now recruiting new members.

We wish to thank Drs. Daniel Ansari, Rebecca Bull, Nancy Jordan, Jo-Anne LeFevre, and Marie-Pascale Noël for their contribution and commitment to the society.

There are three open positions for board members. The duration of the term is 4 years.

What does a board member do:
- join the online meetings every other month
- possibly attend the in-person meeting at our annual conference
- vote on decisions that shape the society
- represent researchers (of all levels) from your country or geographical area

To keep our society international, we especially encourage nominations from outside the US and Canada.

Each MCLS full member is allowed to nominate up to three individuals (n.b. a full member is a regular or associate member who has paid their dues for the current year).
Current members who are on the board and wish to apply for a second term are also eligible for nomination. Self-nominations are welcome!

To submit your nominations, please complete this form by September 21, 2022

The nominee should be able to commit to the entire duration of the term (4 years).
The person should be conducting research on or be working in a position related to advancing our understanding of mathematical cognition and learning. The nominee shall be interested in promoting the mission of the MCLS. To hold office, the nominee must pay their full membership dues.
