Hi everyone,

project to adapt and test a math anxiety intervention for elementary school
children. The postdoctoral researcher will assist with the development and
testing of the intervention in the lab, administer the intervention to
children in schools, collect pre- and post-test math attitude and
achievement data, conduct data analyses, present research findings at
conferences, and write journal articles for publication.

Co-PIs Dr. Sara Hart, Dr. Alexandria Meyer, and Dr. Maria Chiara
Passolunghi, and I will provide hands-on mentorship on data collection,
advanced statistical analysis, open science practices, manuscript writing,
and lab management. Funding is also available for training and travel
opportunities.

Candidates should have a PhD in developmental psychology, human
development, educational psychology, mathematics education, school
psychology, clinical psychology, or a related field, evidence of scholarly
productivity, experience conducting research on math learning and/or
academic emotions with children, and experience conducting advanced
statistical analyses (preferably using SPSS, R, or Mplus). Experience with
data management and/or developing or implementing lab- or school-based
educational or psychological interventions with children are preferred, but
not required.

The start date is negotiable. The preferred start is August 15, 2022, but
the start date can be as late as January 2023 for the right candidate.
Annual salary for the position is anticipated to be ~$56,000.

PS. I will also be hiring a project coordinator and will post the ad for
that position in a few weeks!
