The Department of Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor Level to start in August 2024, pending budgetary approval. We seek individuals specializing in quantitative psychology AND one or more of the Department’s program areas. Candidates are sought who have an established program of research with strong connections with at least one of our five graduate training areas: Biological and Health, Clinical, Cognitive, Developmental, or Social Psychology. Candidates must also have a substantive program of research in psychology that involves work with empirical data. The faculty member will help teach statistics courses at the graduate level as well as courses in their own substantive specialty at the graduate and undergraduate levels. They will also have opportunities to contribute to the rich quantitative training environment outside of the classroom by helping to lead the department’s quantitative methods minor and by participating in the student-led Community for Advanced Methodological Learning.
