<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 7.5pt; background-color: white;">We will be hiring a post-doc for a two-year position that is jointly funded by the Research Excellence Program (<a href="file:///Users/gearyd/Desktop/OneDrive%20-%20University%20of%20Missouri/NIH%202021%20LD%20Hub/Postdoc/Professional%20development%20for%20REP%20postdocs%20includes%20grant%20writing%20training,%20personalized%20guidance%20in%20finding%20funding,%20and%20support%20in%20the%20process%20of%20submitting%20for%20NIH%20K99%20and%20other%20early%20career%20awards.%20REP%20provides%20postdoctoral%20scholars%20with%20unique%20opportunities%20to%20prepare%20for%20a%20faculty%20career.%20The%20Office%20of%20Postdoctoral%20Education%20manages%20the%20hiring%20process%20for%20REP%20and%20helps%20coordinate%20ongoing%20professional%20development." class=""><span class="" style="color: black;">REP</span></a>)
 of the University of Missouri and by an NIH-funded LD (Learning Disabilities) Research Hub grant. We are seeking someone to work on a longitudinal multi-systemic study of the child-, home-, and classroom-centered factors that contribute to preschoolers’ early
 quantitative development. The focus is on quantitative competencies that predict readiness for school entry. The participants will be students enrolled in Title I preschool for academically at-risk children and their parents.<o:p class=""></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 7.5pt; background-color: white;">The fellow will work with a multi-disciplinary team and contribute to all aspects of the project. The LD Hub will be part of an NICHD-funded consortium of Hubs and LD Research Centers
 and the post-doc will have the opportunity to participate in annual joint meetings. <o:p class=""></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span class="" style="background-color: white;">In addition, the University of Missouri provides professional development for REP postdocs that includes grant writing training, personalized guidance in finding funding, and support in the
 process of submitting for NIH K99 or other early career awards. REP provides postdoctoral scholars with unique opportunities to prepare for a faculty career. The Office of Postdoctoral Education manages the hiring process for REP and helps coordinate ongoing
 professional development.</span></p>
