work on an ongoing longitudinal study in the Brain and Cognitive Development
Lab at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign under the direction of Dr
Dan Hyde. The project employs both functional near-infrared spectroscopy
(fNIRS) and event-related potentials (ERPs) to examine the relationship between
functional brain re-organization and numeracy in children from 2-6 years with a
multi-wave, longitudinal design.</span></p>

large role in pre-registration development, data analyses, manuscript
development, data dissemination (e.g., conference presentation), and data

development and continued future access to the resulting longitudinal dataset.</span></p>

field related to the project (e.g., neuroscience, cognitive science, human
development) by the start date, at least 2-3 years of research experience
relevant to at least one dimension of the project (e.g., longitudinal statistical
modeling, relevant brain measures, hands-on experience with the population of
interest, early numeracy, etc.), and the ability to work rigorously and
comfortably with families and children to conduct research. </span></p>
