The Mathematics, Reasoning, and Learning Laboratory (MRLab), directed by Miriam Rosenberg-Lee, PhD, seeks qualified candidates for a funded graduate position in the Department of Psychology at Rutgers University - Newark. MRLab does cutting-edge work at the intersection of neuroscience and education, currently focused on uncovering the neural basis of difficulties learning rational numbers, with a view to developing instructional approaches to improve mathematical outcomes. Candidates with backgrounds in functional neuroimaging, longitudinal or intervention study design, cognitive development, or educational research are strongly encouraged to apply.

Graduate students in the Department of Psychology typically receive funding for five years of study, which includes tuition waivers and stipends through a mix of fellowships and assistantships.
