Adjacent Events & Planning Tips
As you submit your proposals and decide which period to block out of your calendar next year, we would like to share some independent and optional activities that will take place around the same period, for your consideration!
On the afternoon of June 8, we plan to have an informal gathering at Lan Kwai Fong, a historic district in Hong Kong with narrow streets and alleys lined with restaurants and bars. Then, we will have our three-day conference.
After MCLS 2025, from June 12-13, we will be holding InSuDoc 2025, our annual International Summer School and Symposium for Doctoral Students in Early Childhood Education and Development (ECED) and other related fields, targeted at junior researchers (research assistants, graduate students, and post-docs). Please refer to our InSuDoc 2025 website for more information.
After InSuDoc 2025, on June 14, there will also be the Conference for Research in Early Childhood Education (CRECE) 2025. CRECE is an annual conference that brings together local and regional researchers and practitioners in the field of early childhood education. The theme for this year, in line with MCLS 2025, is “Early Mathematics Learning and Playful Exploration in Real Life: Theory and Practice”. This event is free-of-charge and open to all to join! Please refer to the CRECE 2025 website for more information.
